Mission Statement
The Weston Special Education Parent Advisory Council (Weston SEPAC) is an all-volunteer parent organization dedicated to supporting families of children with special needs. We provide a collaborative forum to share resources, exchange information, and foster community connections. Through active engagement with school administration and community members, we advocate for inclusive policies, raise public awareness, and ensure educational representation that positively impacts students with special needs
Our Leadership Team
Amy Casilio
President
Having served in various PTO leadership roles, Amy is excited to step into the SEPAC President role. Her family moved to Weston in 2022, and has three children across Country, Field, and Middle School (including one on an IEP). During her first year on SEPAC, she worked closely with the WPS Student Services team, to support families, students and the district in identifying the best services, policies and education for the students.
Laili Kafi Gonzales
Vice President
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Laili has three children in Middle and Country School, respectively and has experience navigating the IEP process both internationally and in Weston. Laili brings a fantastic perspective and energy to our community and is eager to support other families in the SEPAC community. On a persoanl note, she is a “ridiculously avid reader.”
